DMF Lighting 4" Adjustable 2000 Lumen Commercial Downlight (24.5W)
The DMF Lighting 4" Commercial Adjustable Downlight is the newest innovation in high bay fixtures. Previously, they had the DCD series; now, theyāre called āCommercial Downlights.ā Despite the name change, they are still made for the same application. This light specifically has an adjustable head so you can be very intentional about your lighting setup.
That being spaces with tall ceilings. Meanwhile, theĀ M Series Residential lightsĀ (DRD2) cap out at 16.5W, but these go up to 40.5W. Simply put more power = more light.
Color temperature or CCT is pretty straightforward; 3500K will suit most homes perfectly; if your home is a little more modern/white, go with the 4000K. If you have a lot of natural woods or yellow tones, it might make sense to go with 3000K. For garage applications, the only acceptable temp is 4000K, not the ideal 5000K I love, but it will work.
Beyond the unparalleled build quality, unbelievable customization, and ease of installation. I love DMF so much because of its 93+ CRI (Color Rendering Index) rating. To put it simply, the light the module produces is incredibly accurate. So when youāre looking at artwork, skin tones, or even car paint, you are seeing an accurate representation of what it looks like.
They are still compatible with all standard DMF M Series Trims. Just pair it with aĀ Lutron Ra2 Select PowPak Dimming ModuleĀ andĀ PicosĀ for precise control over brightness levels.
With a luminous output of 2000 lumens, it's ideal for ceilings ranging from 10-12ft in the garage and 12-14ft in the home. Lighting can get a little complex depending on your space so make sure to reach out to ourĀ design teamĀ for help if you have any questions.Ā
